Terrace Goods is a new food hall space based in Orchard Square, Sheffield, providing fast, casual, ethically sourced food + drink.

I created the brand identity for Terrace Goods, along with designing the sub-brand identities for some of their food brands including Crack Chick - a Nashville hot chicken brand, and Cold Cuts Deli - a sandwich deli brand. The Fools Gold Pizza brand was designed by Louis Buck.

It needed a fun and vibrant identity, one way to do this was to make the brand stay fresh and current through the use of an interchangeable logo. The flexibility of changing the “oo” in Terrace Goods to reflect current events and themes using illustrations gives a playful element to the brand, as well as being able to tailor to their own events. For more conservative use when needing a slightly more serious tone, it can be reverted back to just using its regular letters. This is more important now than ever to be able to adapt to ever-changing circumstances.

This in combination with animating their hand drawn logo and illustrations, paints a much bolder picture of who they are - a cool, fun place to hang out and eat great food in the sun. I drew the Terrace Goods and Crack Chick logos myself, and designed the Cold Cuts logo which was based on Chateaux Project’s Neon design.
