I illustrated and animated scenes for the documentary The Farm Under the City commissioned by Quorn and Planet Shine which is available to watch online via Waterbear network here.
The documentary enters around the inspiring story of Leaf + Shoot based in Sheffield, who run an underground vertical bioponic farm right beneath Kelham Island. They also sell their produce to local businesses and in their shop alongside other natural goods. The film highlights environmental sustainability and how we can take natural processes and cycles that exist in the wild, and apply it to our everyday consumption routines.
The Farm Under the City has been selected for numerous film festivals internationally including Doc NYC, Bolton International film festival, Cinemambiente, Kendal Mountain festival, Norwich film festival and Planet in Focus. As well being one of the top 5 finalists of the international Bloomberg Green Docs competition in 2022.
