Magic The Gathering - Jumpstart promotional merch
I was commissioned by Magic The Gathering to create quirky characters to help celebrate Jumpstart, a set of cards that have been designed for Magic beginners: you open two packs of cards, shuffle them together and you're good to go. Each Jumpstart booster pack contains 20 cards. These 20 cards are all of the same mana colour, and follow the same theme. Think: Detectives, Cats, Lawyers or Goblins. I absolutely loved illustrating the stickers and characters for this!
Promotional characters I created to reflect some of the potential combinations you could create with the cards included a zombie dragon, a three headed cat, rat knights and a goblin detective. These were made into stickers, badges and t-shirts.
